Placement Outside the St. Louis Region
◆Placement Outside the St. Louis Region
Dashing Coons — Ballwin, Missouri · Personal Hand-Delivery Only · Nationwide
Dashing Coons is based in Ballwin, Missouri — in the St. Louis metro. Our primary service area is the St. Louis region, where families can visit in person, meet the kittens, and pick up locally. For families outside the metro, we offer complimentary nationwide personal delivery — availability and timing depend on current litter inventory and your location.
This page is for families who are not in the St. Louis area and want to understand honestly how longer-distance placements work.
We never use cargo shipping. We never ship kittens unaccompanied.
Complimentary nationwide personal delivery means Samuel personally travels with your kitten — by car, directly to you. Your kitten is never placed in cargo, never handed to a third-party courier, and never shipped unaccompanied under any circumstances.
Breeding-rights placements are currently on HOLD.
We are placing companion kittens only at this time. Breeding-rights placements are paused and not available. If you are looking for a companion kitten, we are happy to talk — reach out and we will walk you through what is currently available.
How Longer-Distance Placements Work
We do not use cargo shipping, flight nannies, or third-party transport services. Every kitten that leaves our care travels with Samuel personally. For longer distances, that means we discuss the logistics together — whether that is a road trip delivery, a midpoint handoff, or another arrangement that works for both sides. There is no standard process for long-distance placements because every situation is different.
If you are outside the St. Louis metro and interested in a kitten, the first step is a conversation. Text us at (618) 973-6926 to talk through what is possible for your location.
What Does Not Change for Out-of-Region Families
- TICA-registered cattery — verifiable at tica.org before any deposit
- Live video call before any deposit — see your kitten face to face
- Same $1,000 deposit, same health guarantee, same paperwork at handoff
- Samuel answers every message personally — no staff, no form responses
- Real named reviews from real buyers — Bryan C., Kaylin G., Mary P., Stine K.
States We Have Placed Kittens In
We have placed kittens with families in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Utah, and other states. Each placement outside the metro is discussed individually. If your state is not listed, that does not mean we cannot help — it means we have not placed there yet. Reach out and we will talk through what is possible.
Nearby State Pages
If you are in one of these states, we have a dedicated page with more specific information:
Our specialty is black smoke Maine Coons — a color pattern that appears nearly solid black but reveals a stunning silver undercoat in motion and light. We also breed polydactyl Maine Coons, cats born with extra toes that give them wide, mitten-like paws. Both traits are in high demand. If you are interested in either, reach out early — availability is limited and deposits go quickly.
Our Specialty: European Smoke Maine Coons
- Authentic European bloodlines — wild structure, tall ear tufts, square muzzles
- Specializing in black smoke, blue smoke, and polydactyl Maine Coons
- Breeding cats panel-tested for HCM MYBPC3 A31P, SMA, and PKDef — dated reports shared before deposit
- TICA-registered with verifiable credentials
- In-home raised — kittens grow up in a family environment from birth
- Written sales contract with every placement
