Welcome to Dashing Coons — a TICA-registered Maine Coon cattery in Southern Illinois serving families throughout Illinois, Missouri, the Midwest, and across the United States. We specialize in European Maine Coon kittens known for impressive size, affectionate temperaments, bold features, and family-friendly personalities.
Our kittens are raised in our home, handled daily, vet-checked, vaccinated, and sent home with registration paperwork, health records, pedigree information, and guidance for a smooth transition. Every breeding cat is genetically health-tested through UC Davis — and we run Wisdom Panel annually on all breeding cats. Kittens sold as breeders receive the same full genetic panel. We focus on healthy lines, responsible pairings, transparency, and helping each family find the right kitten.

◆Our Health Testing Standards
Every breeding cat undergoes a comprehensive genetic panel through UC Davis Veterinary Genetics Laboratory. We test for HCM, SMA, PKD, and additional breed-relevant markers. All results are available upon request — transparency about health is non-negotiable.

Maine Coon
The European Maine Coon is larger, wilder-looking, and more structurally extreme than the American show standard — enormous size, dramatic ear furnishings, a powerful square muzzle, and a thick, flowing coat.
Smoke Maine Coons are born nearly solid and slowly reveal a breathtaking silver undercoat over 6–12 months. Our program imports directly from top European catteries in Russia and Ukraine — pure European, no American crosses.

We deliver everywhere in the US
We're based in Ballwin, Missouri — right in the St. Louis metro — and we personally deliver every kitten. St. Louis families can pick up in person or get free delivery to their door. Chicago families are a straight drive away. For Nashville, Indianapolis, Louisville, and the surrounding region, we drive to you.
For families further out — Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, Phoenix, and beyond — we arrange a personal flight nanny. Your kitten travels in-cabin with a trusted handler, never in cargo. We've placed kittens in all 50 states and the process is seamless. Distance is not a barrier.
