Dashing Coons is an open, appointment-based cattery in Ballwin, Missouri — right in the St. Louis metro — and we welcome serious buyers to come visit, meet the kittens, meet the parents, and see exactly how we operate. There are no hidden rooms, no off-limits areas, and no surprises. What you see is what we are.

What to Expect When You Visit

When you come to our Ballwin location, you'll meet our breeding cats first — Cyrus, Cheetoe, Jolene, Dolly, and Spooky. These are the parents of our kittens, and seeing them tells you everything about what your kitten will become. You'll see their size, their temperament, their coat quality, and how they interact with people. Then you'll spend time with the available kittens — watching them play, holding them, and getting a feel for which one connects with you.

We don't rush visits. We set aside real time for you to ask questions, review health testing documentation, and understand exactly what you're getting. By the time you leave, you should feel completely confident — not just in the kitten, but in us.

What We Breed

We specialize in black smoke, blue smoke, and polydactyl Maine Coons with authentic European bloodlines from Russia and Ukraine. Our cats have the dramatic structure the breed is known for — tall ear tufts, square muzzles, heavy bone, and a temperament that's more dog than cat. Every breeding cat is genetically tested through UC Davis, and every kitten comes with a written health guarantee and TICA registration paperwork.
