Every kitten from Dashing Coons comes with a written health guarantee. Here's what it covers in plain terms.
What the Guarantee Covers
Genetic health conditions
If your kitten is diagnosed with a hereditary genetic condition within 2 years of go-home, I will work with you to make it right — whether that means a replacement kitten, a partial refund, or another resolution we agree on together. The written contract spells out the exact terms.
Vet check at go-home
Your kitten has been examined by a licensed vet before leaving me. If a vet finds a pre-existing condition within 72 hours of go-home, I want to know about it immediately — contact me and we will sort it out.
What it doesn't cover
The guarantee does not cover accidents, illness from exposure after go-home, conditions caused by environment or diet, or any condition unrelated to hereditary genetics. It also requires that your kitten receives regular veterinary care — a kitten that never sees a vet is not a kitten I can stand behind.
The short version
I stand behind the health of my kittens. If something comes up that's related to genetics or a condition that existed before go-home, I want to make it right. Text me and we'll talk through it.
Reachable for the Life of Your Cat
The guarantee has a defined term, but my availability doesn't. I give every family my personal cell at go-home. If you have a question about your cat six months or six years from now, you can still text me.
