What bloodlines does Dashing Coons work with, and why does it matter?

Our program is built entirely on European bloodlines — specifically the Russian and Ukrainian lines that have become the benchmark for the dramatic structural look most people associate with the Maine Coon at its most impressive. That means square muzzle, high cheekbones, tall ear tufts with pronounced lynx tips, a broad chest, and a coat with real density and length. We specialize in two patterns that are rare in the St. Louis market: black smoke and blue smoke Maine Coons, which are born appearing nearly solid and develop a luminous silver undercoat over their first year, and polydactyl (MCP) lines carrying the extra-toe trait registered under TICA's Maine Coon Polydactyl designation. Every breeding cat is DNA-tested through UC Davis VGL. Every kitten goes home with TICA registration paperwork, a written health contract, and a breeder who picks up the phone. Samuel runs this program himself — there is no staff layer between you and a real answer.
